User Data Supplementation

We purchase marketing data about our customers from third parties and combine it with information we have already collected to help us ensure the data is accurate and complete. DTonomy will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you and offer our services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

When you download and use our Services, we automatically collect information on the type of device you use and the operating system version.

We send you push notifications from time-to-time in order to update you about any events or promotions that we may be running. If you no longer wish to receive these types of communications, you may turn them off at the device level. To ensure you receive proper notifications, we will need to collect certain information about your device such as operating system and user identification information.

Collection and Use of Information Through the DTonomy Service (SaaS Platform)

Our servers, which may be hosted by a third-party service provider, may collect certain technical data about your device and software, including your browser type, operating system, IP address (a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet, which may vary from session to session), domain name, and/or a time stamp of your visit. We automatically gather this data and store it in log files each time you visit our website or access your account on our network. Unless you have provided PII in connection with your use of the Online Services, such technical data cannot reasonably be used to identify you. We may also directly collect analytics data, or use third-party analytics tools, to help us measure traffic and usage trends in connection with the Online Services. We collect and use this analytics information in aggregate form such that it cannot reasonably be used to identify any particular individual user.

How We Disclose Your Personal Information

We will share your personal information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We may generate reports that contain aggregated or anonymized data about usage of our Online Services and similar topics to improve our services, develop new services and show trends about general use of services. In such instances, we use aggregate data that cannot be used to reasonably identify any individual and which contains no PII.

Service Providers and Sub-Processors

We may provide your personal information to companies that provide services to help us with our business activities such as submitting promotional email communications to you on the behalf of DTonomy. These companies are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to provide these services to us. DTonomy may transfer personal information to companies that help us provide our service to our clients. Transfers to subsequent third parties are covered by the provisions in this policy regarding notice and choice and the service agreements with our clients.

Legal Disclaimer

We may also disclose your personal information:

  • as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
  • when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request; and/or
  • to any other third party with your prior consent to do so.

If DTonomy is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our website of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.

Use of Cookies

DTonomy and our marketing partners, affiliates, and analytics or service providers use cookies or similar technologies to analyze trends, administer the site, track user movements through the site, and gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.

We use cookies to remember user-specific settings, such as language preference and authentication, while our users are using the service. Users can control the use of cookies at the browser level. If they choose to reject cookies, they can still use the site, but may find that their ability to use some features or areas of the service is limited.

Like most websites, the service gathers certain information and stores it automatically in log files. This helps us monitor site traffic, referrals, exit patterns, browser and operating system trends, and clickstream data. We may combine this automatically collected log information with other information we collect about users.

While DTonomy may compile aggregate data related to DTonomy client usage as a group, we will never disclose such aggregate data to third parties to the extent that a client could ever be identified as the source of the data. DTonomy uses Google Analytics to monitor overall traffic trends, system performance, and other metrics. To learn more about Google Analytics, see the Google Partner Privacy Policy at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/.

Children’s Information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

DTonomy does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

How Long We Retain Your Personal Information

DTonomy will retain personal data we process on behalf of our active clients to provide services to our client. DTonomy will retain and use this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

When client is decommissioned, their data will be deleted in 60 days.

You may also ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will inform you if we intend to disclose your information to any third-party service provider for this purpose. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing at any time by contacting us.
